Hi! My name is Alex, although online I usually go by the nickname B4NGG.

I am a software engineer and I am currently focusing my path toward cybersecurity. I have always been interested in this field, but for a long time I did not decide to fully make the jump. Although software development and cybersecurity complement each other, they also have very different approaches and challenges.

I created this blog to document my cybersecurity journey and share what I learn along the way: machines, certifications, methodologies, mistakes, notes, and personal experiences.

I also started a Spanish-language YouTube channel as a complement to this blog. There, I share some experiences, advice, and lessons learned in a more dynamic way.

My goal is to learn in public and leave the path documented, hoping that it can also help someone else.
